GOOGLE ORBIT

Google asked us to redesign how users experience privacy and compliance in Android OS. The challenge was to bridge the gap between privacy controls and human behavior, turning fear and confusion into clarity and empowerment. A visual and UX framework that puts users at the center of their digital world—giving them orbit-based control over who has access to their data and when.

"How might we make digital privacy feel natural, empowering, and trustworthy—without compromising user engagement?"

THE PROBLEM: The Privacy Paradox
Users want data privacy but rarely engage with tools that offer it. Why? Because privacy settings often feel: Overwhelming, Hidden or abstract, Disconnected from daily routines.

What I did?

  • Led UX research (50+ user interviews, focus groups)

  • Developed privacy personas and user journeys

  • Crafted multi-channel storytelling systems (OOH, print, digital)

  • Designed interface prototypes for Android privacy OS settings
