Marvel Legacy Card Deck
The Marvel Legacy Card Deck reframes a standard 52-card deck into a structured narrative system divided into four visual families– Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, and Captain America where each character is acting as a suite with its own identity system. Designed for a soft product launch toolkit, this deck was imagined as the centerpiece for limited-edition promotions, retail activations, and collector campaigns that live beyond the box.

"Marvel has long told its stories through film, comics and merchandise, but what if brand engagement could move beyond screens and shelves into a tactile system of storytelling?"
The goal was to create a promotional experience that honors the legacy of Marvel’s most iconic characters while giving fans a new way to connect, collect, and celebrate– not just through branding, but through communication design.
What I did:
Conceptualized the deck as a brand engagement system built on storytelling and suite-level design logic.
Created all custom face card illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and developed typographic hierarchy using Oswald font family with refined kerning, line spacing, structure & style variations.
Designed the deck layout, packaging system, and applied visual identity principles to differentiate suites while maintaining cohesion.
